Start where you are

Maybe you’re looking for private recovery coaching. Maybe you need a group of men who understand the fight. Maybe your church or ministry team needs help knowing how to respond.

This page will help you find the right next step.

You don’t need to know exactly what to book before you begin. Read through the options below, choose the one that fits best, or schedule a quick consult with Brian to talk it through.

How Brian Can Help

Brian Shillingburg, M.Ed., PSAP, is the founder of 9th Inning Project and an Inner Child Model Clinician trained in Dr. Eddie Capparucci’s model. He helps men, families, and churches respond to pornography and sexual addiction with honesty, accountability, and hope.

His work brings together lived recovery experience, pastoral sex addiction training, the Inner Child Model, and more than 25 years of leadership in education. He understands how secrecy grows, how shame keeps men stuck, and how hard it can be to take the first honest step.

The goal isn’t to overwhelm you with options. It’s to help you find the support that matches where you are right now.

Personal Recovery Coaching

FOR MEN WHO NEED FOCUSED, PRIVATE SUPPORT

Personal recovery coaching gives you a place to step out of secrecy and talk honestly about what’s been happening, what keeps pulling you back, and what needs to change.

This is a focused coaching conversation with Brian designed to help you name the patterns, understand what’s underneath the behavior, and begin building a more intentional recovery path.

You want private support before joining a group.

You need help sorting through what’s happening and why.

You’re ready for accountability but don’t know where to start.

You want a recovery conversation that’s honest, direct, and grounded in hope.

SUPPORT MAY INCLUDE
60-minute Intensive Recovery Session
1:1 coaching with Brian

Recovery Groups

FOR MEN WHO NEED STRUCTURE, BROTHERHOOD, AND ONGOING ACCOUNTABILITY

Recovery wasn’t meant to happen in isolation. Small groups give men a place to be honest, stay connected, and walk through recovery with others who understand the fight.

These groups are built around real conversation, guided recovery work, and consistent accountability.

They’re not about performing, pretending, or saying the right religious words. They’re about telling the truth, doing the work, and staying in the process.

You keep slipping back into the same cycle.

You need more than occasional motivation.

You want to be around men who understand what this costs.

You’re ready for consistent recovery work, not just a one-time conversation.

SUPPORT MAY INCLUDE
Inner Child Recovery Group
Young Pastors Recovery Group

Church & Pastoral Support

FOR CHURCHES, PASTORS, MINISTRY TEAMS, AND FAMILIES NAVIGATING HARD CONVERSATIONS

Pornography, sexual addiction, disclosure, betrayal, and recovery are already affecting families and churches. The question isn’t whether these issues exist. The question is whether leaders are prepared to respond with clarity, truth, and care.

Brian works with churches and ministry leaders to support healthier conversations around sexual integrity, addiction, accountability, and restoration.

Questions You May Be Carrying

You may have questions you are not ready to say out loud yet. That is okay.

Most men who reach out do not have everything figured out. They just know something is not working anymore, and they do not want to keep doing this alone. These answers are here to help you understand what to expect before you take the next step.

NOT SURE WHERE TO START?

That’s normal. You may know you need help before you know which service fits.

A quick consult is a simple way to talk through what’s going on, ask questions, and decide whether personal coaching, a recovery group, or church support is the right next step.
